Who is Anand Varadarajan, Starbucks' new Indian-origin CTO?

Starbucks' new Chief Technology Officer Anand Varadarajan completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras. He later did an MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and an MS in Computer Science from Washington University. Varadarajan worked at Amazon for over 18 years in multiple roles, most recently as VP of Worldwide Grocery Technology and Supply Chain.
