Mehr Jesia, who announced a mutual separation from her husband of 20 years Arjun Rampal, won Miss India when she was 17 and represented the country at Miss Universe 1986. She is a national snooker champion and state-level badminton player who went on to be considered among the first generation of Indian supermodels. She met Arjun during their modelling days.
