Who is Ashwani Lohani, the new Railway Board Chairman?

Ashwani Lohani, who was appointed as the Railway Board Chairman on Wednesday, was the Chairman and Managing Director of Air India. While Lohani was Air India CMD in 2015-16, the national carrier posted an operational profit for the first time after its merger. He had served earlier as the Chairman and Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation.
