Who is Atanu Chakraborty, who's resigned as chairman of HDFC Bank?

Atanu Chakraborty, who's resigned as part-time Chairman and Independent Director of HDFC Bank, is a retired 1985-batch IAS officer from the Gujarat cadre. He has over 30 years of experience in public policy and financial administration. He served as Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs under Ministry of Finance and worked with the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management.
