Who is Baijayant Panda, man behind BJP’s victory in Delhi polls?

The 61-year-old Baijayant Panda, also called Jay Panda, is BJP's Delhi in-charge and is being credited for party's return to the national capital after 27 years. Panda is the National Vice President of BJP and also heads the party's Assam unit. He joined BJP in 2019 after quitting Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal (BJD) following his suspension over "anti-party activities".
