Who is Devendra Chaplot, Indian AI researcher who joined SpaceX?

Indian AI researcher Devendra Chaplot, who announced that he is joining Elon Musk's xAI and SpaceX, is an IIT Bombay Computer Science graduate and holds a PhD in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University. He was previously part of the founding teams at Thinking Machines Lab and Mistral AI. Chaplot is also a recipient of the Facebook Fellowship Award.
