Who is Doctor Doom, Marvel villain to be played by Downey Jr?

'Iron Man' star Robert Downey Jr is set to return to Marvel Cinematic Universe to play the role of villain Victor von Doom or Doctor Doom. The character, which first appeared in The Fantastic Four #5 in July 1962, was a sorcerer and the tyrannical supreme monarch of technologically-advanced Latveria who wanted to expand his rule over the entire universe.
