Who is Eileen, California Mayor who pleaded guilty for secretly working for China?

Eileen Wang, who resigned as mayor of California's Arcadia after agreeing to plead guilty to acting as an illegal agent of Chinese government, moved to Southern California from China 30 years ago. Eileen was elected to Arcadia City Council in 2022 and later became mayor in 2026. She previously supported Republican presidential candidates before backing Democrat Kamala Harris in 2024.
