Who is Guj-born US judge Amit Mehta who ruled 'Google has illegal monopoly'?
Indian-origin US judge Amit Mehta on Monday ruled that Google violated antitrust law and created an "illegal monopoly" on internet search. Born in Gujarat's Patan, Mehta was first Asian-Pacific American to be sworn into Columbia's District Court. He was appointed judge by former US President Barack Obama. The 53-year-old judge earlier ruled on cases related to January 6 Capitol riots.
