Who is Harivansh Singh, Rajya Sabha's new Deputy Chairman?

The newly elected Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh is a member of the JD(U), BJP's ally in Bihar. He did his post-graduation in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and also got a PG diploma in Journalism. He has also served as the Editor-in-Chief of a Hindi daily, before being nominated for the Rajya Sabha in 2014.
