Who is IAF pilot Abhinandan, released from Pakistan custody today?

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, son of retired Air Marshal Simhakutty Varthaman, was held by Pakistan on Wednesday following the crash of his MiG-21 jet and returned to India on Friday. Abhinandan was commissioned into the IAF in 2004 and is also an accomplished Sukhoi-30 pilot. Hailing from Chennai, the 34-year-old is married and his brother also reportedly serves in IAF.
