Who is IIM graduate Sofia, who has become Odisha's 1st Muslim MLA?

Odisha's first Muslim MLA Sofia Firdous is an IIM graduate who holds a Civil Engineering degree. Married to entrepreneur Sheikh Mairajul Haque, the 32-year-old was earlier Director of her father's Metro Builders company. She abandoned her real estate developer career and entered politics because her father (ex-Congress MLA Mohammed Moquim) couldn't contest polls since he's convicted in fraud case.
