Who is IIT Bombay Professor Doolla, booked after student's suicide?

Suryanarayana Doolla, named in FIR after death of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode, is a professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering since 2009. He was also IIT Bombay's Dean of Student Affairs. He studied MTech at IIT Bombay, received his PhD from IIT Delhi and worked in Bengaluru and Hyderabad before joining IIT Bombay as a professor.
