Who is Indian Premier League auctioneer Richard Madley?

Nicknamed 'The Hammerman', Richard Madley, is a career auctioneer hailing from Wales. Madley started his career as a floor sweeper at the London auction house, Phillips Son and Neale, in 1978 before being appointed to the board of directors by the age of 30. The 59-year-old has represented Wales in hockey as a junior player and played Surrey league cricket.
