Who is JS Khehar, the new Chief Justice of India?

Jagdish Singh Khehar (64) was on Wednesday sworn in as the 44th Chief Justice of India, making him the first Sikh to become the Supreme Court's top judge. He is a son of a Kenyan migrant, and also reportedly donates blood every three months. Khehar had led the five-judge constitution bench that struck down the National Judicial Appointments Commission Act.
