Who is K Suresh, INDIA bloc's Lok Sabha Speaker candidate?

Kodikunnil Suresh, an eight-time MP from Kerala's Mavelikara Lok Sabha constituency, is INDIA bloc's candidate for Speaker post. Reportedly the senior-most MP in current Lok Sabha, K Suresh was first elected in 1989 and has held Mavelikara seat since 2009. He served as Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment in second UPA government led by ex-PM Manmohan Singh.
