Who is Laxmi Agarwal, the acid attack survivor Deepika is playing?

Delhi-born Laxmi Agarwal was in 2005 attacked with acid by a man twice her age for rejecting his advances. In 2006, she filed a PIL in Supreme Court seeking a ban on sale of acid and in 2013, the court ruled in her favour, imposing restrictions on its sale. Laxmi was also awarded by former US First Lady Michelle Obama.
