Who is Lt. Harveen Kaur, school teacher who joined the Army?

Lt. Harveen Kaur Kahlon lost her husband, Major Kanwalpal Singh Kahlon, to the line of duty while five months pregnant. A schoolteacher and single mother, she chose to honour his legacy by cracking the SSB and completing 11 months of rigorous training at OTA Chennai. She was commissioned as a Lieutenant with her son watching from the stands.
