Who is Mahavir Singh Phogat, Aamir's character in Dangal

Mahavir Singh Phogat is an Amateur wrestler and senior Olympics coach from Haryana who trained his daughters Babita and Gita to become world-class wrestlers. Both his daughters have won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. The wrestler, on whose life Aamir's film 'Dangal' is based, was nominated for the Dronacharya Award by the Wrestling Federation of India.
