Who is Major Payal Chhabra, 1st woman Army surgeon to join para forces?

Major Dr Payal Chhabra has become the first woman surgeon in the Indian Army to join the elite Para Special Forces. Dr Chhabra, who is from Haryana, was commissioned into the Indian Army as a Captain in January 2021. She later underwent training at the Paratroopers Training School in Agra. She holds an MBBS degree and an MS surgery degree.
