Who is Manikarnika Dutta, historian facing deportation from UK?

Indian historian Dr Manikarnika Dutta, who is facing deportation from UK after she exceeded allowed days abroad while conducting research in India, is an assistant professor at University College Dublin. The 37-year-old studied modern history at University of Calcutta. She moved to UK for further education on student visa but later obtained spouse visa as a dependant on her husband.
