Who is Manoj Kumar Verma, the new Kolkata Police Commissioner?

Manoj Kumar Verma, who was appointed as new Kolkata Police Commissioner on Tuesday, is an IPS officer from 1998 batch. He has previously served as Additional Director General (ADG) and Inspector General of Police in charge of Law & Order. Earlier, he was posted as IG of Darjeeling and SP in West Midnapore and also served as Barrackpore Police Commissioner.
