Who is Nimisha Priya, Indian nurse sentenced to death in Yemen?

Indian nurse Nimisha Priya is facing a death sentence in Yemen. Nimisha was convicted of murdering a Yemeni national after she injected him with sedatives in order to get her passport from his possession in 2017. Nimisha, a resident of Kerala, worked in Yemen since 2011. In 2014, her husband and daughter reportedly returned to India because of financial issues.
