Eighteen-year-old para archer Payal Nag defeated world number one Sheetal Devi to clinch gold at the World Archery Para Series compound women's final in Bangkok, becoming world's first quadruple amputee archer. Daughter of a daily-wage mason from Odisha, Payal lost all four limbs after an electrocution accident at age eight. She took up para archery inspired by Sheetal's success.
