Who is R Sreelekha, BJP's likely mayor face in Thiruvananthapuram?

After BJP won Thiruvananthapuram Corporation in Kerala local body polls, R Sreelekha, who won from Sasthamangalam division, has emerged as a likely mayoral face in the state capital. Kerala's first woman IPS officer in 1987, she served with the CBI and Kerala Crime Branch. She courted controversy by claiming actor Dileep was falsely accused in the 2017 sexual assault case.
