Who is Ritu Tawde, BJP's pick for Mumbai Mayor post?

BJP announced corporator Ritu Tawde as its candidate for the Mumbai mayor election. She first entered BMC as a corporator from Ward number 127 in 2012 and went on to win from Ward number 121 in Ghatkopar in 2017 and Ward number 132 in 2026 civic elections. She has also served as Chairperson of Education Committee of Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
