Who is Rohit Prasad, the Indian engineer behind Amazon's Alexa?

India-born engineer Rohit Prasad spearheaded the development of Amazon's voice assistant Alexa almost from its inception five years ago along with Amazon executive Toni Reid. Prasad, who has his family in Jharkhand's Ranchi, did his schooling from DAV and engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He currently works as VP and Head Scientist of Alexa Artificial Intelligence at Amazon.
