Who is Rouble Nagi, 2026 Global Teacher Prize winner?

Rouble Nagi is an Indian artist and social reformer who turned slum walls into open classrooms for children without schools. Through her foundation, she created over 800 learning centres and helped repair more than 1.5 lakh homes across India. She recently won Global Teacher Prize 2026 at the World Government Summit in Dubai, following her education work widely praised.
