Who is Sajda Pathan, former child labourer & lead of Oscar-nominated 'Anuja'?

Sajda Pathan played the lead role in Priyanka Chopra and Guneet Monga-backed short film 'Anuja', nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at Oscars. Sajda was rescued from the streets by an NGO as a child labourer and now lives at the NGO's daycare centre. 'Anuja' was Sajda's second film. She has previously worked in a French film 'The Braid'.
