Who is Sanjay Malhotra, IIT-Kanpur alumnus set to become new RBI Governor?

Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra is set to start his role as RBI Governor from December 11. A 1990-batch IAS officer, Malhotra is an Engineering Graduate in Computer Science from IIT-Kanpur and has a Master's in Public Policy from US' Princeton University. In his over 33-year career, Malhotra has worked in sectors including power, IT, finance and taxation, among others.
