Who is Sibi George, Indian diplomat who replied to reporter's 'Why trust India' remark?

MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George's reply to a reporter's "Why should we trust India?" question during a Norway presser has gone viral. A 1993-batch IFS officer, George previously served as India's Ambassador to Japan, Switzerland and Kuwait, and held positions in Washington DC and Islamabad. He hails from Kerala's Kottayam and was a gold medallist in both graduation and post-graduation.
