Who is Surinder Choudhary, the new Deputy CM of J&K?

Jammu and Kashmir's new Deputy CM Surinder Kumar Choudhary is National Conference (NC) MLA from Nowshera constituency. The 56-year-old entered politics in 2014, when he lost Assembly polls on PDP ticket. In 2022, he left PDP to join BJP. He defected to NC last year. As per his affidavit, the politician completed his education up to 12th grade.
