Who is Tushar Kumar, who became UK's youngest Indian-origin mayor?

Tushar Kumar was appointed mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood, becoming the youngest-ever Indian-origin mayor in the United Kingdom. The 23-year-old was born in Haryana and moved to the UK in 2013. Kumar graduated from King's College London and was first elected as a town councillor at 20. He and his mother were both elected as Labour councillors in 2023.
