Who is TVK chief Vijay’s wife Sangeetha, who filed for divorce?

Actor and TVK chief Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, has filed for divorce, alleging he had an affair with an actress. Sangeetha is of Sri Lankan Tamil origin. She was born and raised in the UK, where her industrialist father had settled. She married Vijay on August 25, 1999. The two first met following the success of Vijay’s film 'Poove Unakkaga'.
