Umar Farooq Zahoor is a Pakistani-origin businessman who is accused of financial crimes in Norway. In 2003, he was sentenced to one year in jail in Norway for embezzlement of plane tickets through a travel agency owned by his family. In 2010, Norwegian authorities accused him of a high-profile financial fraud case, wherein 60 million Norwegian kroner were siphoned off.
