Who is Vladimir Medinsky, leading Russia-Ukraine talks in Turkey?

Vladimir Medinsky will be leading the Russia-Ukraine talks on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Turkey's Istanbul. Russia's ultra-conservative ex-Culture Minister, Medinsky, holds a degree in international journalism and also served in Russia's Ministry for Tax and Revenue. A staunch nationalist, he was appointed aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Putin, in January 2020.
