IndiGo on Monday appointed William Walsh as its new CEO, effective August 2026. Walsh, currently Director General of the International Air Transport Association, previously served as CEO of British Airways. Born in Dublin, he started his career in the aviation industry as a cadet pilot with Ireland's Aer Lingus in 1979 and later became its CEO.
