WHO issues global alert on fake copies of diabetes drug, Ozempic
The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a global alert about fake versions of Ozempic, a diabetes drug also used for weight loss. Counterfeit batches were found in Brazil, Northern Ireland, and the US. WHO urges purchases from reliable sources only and warns of severe health risks. Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk have sued entities selling counterfeit products.
