In an apparent dig at Team India for not selecting Ravichandran Ashwin, ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly cited example of Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon dismissing Ravindra Jadeja in WTC final, saying, "Who says off-spinners can’t play on a green pitch?" Ganguly stated that Lyon dismissed "India's best batter", adding that the ball had both "turn and bounce".
