WHO tested expired samples of cough syrup in Pacific: Indian firm

Indian pharma firm QP Pharmachem said World Health Organization tested "expired" samples of its cough syrup that were found contaminated in Marshall Islands and Micronesia in Western Pacific. The Punjab-based firm's MD Sudhir Pathak said WHO tested the samples without keeping the firm in the loop. WHO had said that the firm's syrups contained elements that are toxic to humans.
