Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, killed by US in Nigeria, was a high-ranking ISIS operative who served as the group’s global second-in-command. Reportedly, he also directed operations for the Lake Chad division of ISIS’s General Directorate of Provinces. Known by multiple aliases, including Abubakar Mainok and Abor Mainok, he played a key role in channelling international funding and guidance to terror cells.
