Who was Amarnath Ghosh, the Indian dancer shot dead in US?

Amarnath Ghosh who was shot dead in US was a Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer. An alumnus of Kalakshetra Foundation and Kuchipudi Art Academy, Chennai, Ghosh studied at Washington University in Saint Louis. He also performed Rabindra Nritya, according to his website. Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee tweeted about Ghosh's killing and asked PM Narendra Modi for help.
