K Armstrong, the Tamil Nadu state unit president of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), was murdered by six men on Friday. Armstrong was a professional advocate and an ex-councillor of Chennai Corporation. In 2011, he contested the Assembly elections from Kolathur constituency against DMK’s MK Stalin, though he didn't win. According to police, he had eight criminal cases registered against him.
