Who was C Sankaran Nair, lawyer portrayed by Akshay in 'Kesari 2'?

C Sankaran Nair was a lawyer who played a key role in India's freedom struggle against British. In 1919, he resigned from Viceroy's Executive Council after Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He fought a defamation case filed against him by Punjab's then-Lieutenant Governor Michael O'Dwyer, whom Nair held responsible for the massacre in his book. Akshay Kumar portrays Nair in 'Kesari 2'.
