Who was ex-DGP Om Prakash who was allegedly killed by his wife?

Former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash, who was allegedly killed by his wife on Sunday, was born in January 1957 in Bihar's Champaran district. Prakash held a Master's degree in Geology and joined the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1981. He was appointed as Karnataka's DGP on March 1, 2015.
