Who was Girija Vyas, former Union minister who died aged 78?

Senior Congress leader Girija Vyas, who died aged 78, was Union Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting in the Narasimha Rao government and Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation in Manmohan Singh's UPA-II government. She was elected as Lok Sabha MP in 1991, 1996, 1999 and 2009. She was the President of Rajasthan Congress from 1999-2004.
