Who was Indian doctor Dwarkanath Kotnis, a hero in China?

Dr Dwarkanath Kotnis, an Indian doctor, left home in 1938 to serve Chinese soldiers during the Sino-Japanese war. Working tirelessly on frontlines, he became a symbol of compassion beyond borders.
