Who was IPS officer Shiladitya Chetia, who died by suicide after wife's death?

Assam's Home Secretary, IPS officer Shiladitya Chetia, shot himself dead in ICU minutes after his wife's demise due to cancer. The 44-year-old DIG-rank officer previously served as Tinsukia and Sonitpur SP and commandant of 4th Assam Police Battalion. His wife Agamonee Barbaruah was battling cancer for two years. Chetia had reportedly lost his mother and mother-in-law in past few months.
