Who was Liton Ghosh, beaten to death with shovel in Bangladesh?
Liton Chandra Ghosh, also known as Kali, was a 55-year-old Hindu trader and owner of Baishakhi Sweetmeat and Hotel in Bangladesh’s Gazipur district. A well-known local shopkeeper, he was killed after intervening to protect an employee during a dispute with customers. Ghosh was hit on the head with the shovel and died on the spot due to injuries.
