Who was Rohit Bal, fashion designer who passed away at 63?

Rohit Bal was born in Srinagar in 1961 and graduated from St Stephen's College. After initially working with his brother's export company, he launched his line in 1990 that focussed on designer menswear. Time Magazine once called him "India's Master of Fabric and Fantasy" and his designs were worn by Pamela Anderson, Uma Thurman and Cindy Crawford.
